St George’s Hall in North Moulsecoomb celebrated its place in the community and neighbourhood on Saturday 23rd June with a summer fair for local people, thanks to funding from East Brighton Trust. A warm and sunny day – perfect for fun on the bouncy castle and BBQ with friends from across North Moulsecoomb and beyond.
It was also a day for community groups based at St George’s Hall to showcase their work. The 55th Brighton Scouts Group, North Moulsecoomb Tenants and Residents Association, Moulsecoomb Bangladeshi Women’s Group and New Life Church were there.
St George’s Hall Committee also had the chance to ask some questions about the neighbourhood and what the hall could offer on top of the groups that are meeting there. The Committee is now planning for future community activities in the hall in and after the summer.
