Brighton Streets is an extensive citywide detached (street-based) youth work programme led by TDC and delivered by TDC, Tarner and The Hangleton & Knoll Project .
The project won the Partnership Award from Children and Young People Now in 2021 in recognition of the network of professional relationships the project has built to help keep young people in the city safe.
We were shortlisted for the Howard League for Penal Reform Community Awards in 2022 in the ‘Liaison and Diversion from Crime’ category.
Read the external evaluations of the Brighton Streets project, one delivered by the Centre for Education & Youth, the other by the National Children’s Bureau.
